Ralph Lauren's Nautical and Western Cushion Watches

Ralph Lauren has launched a Nautical collection and a 38mm Western Cushion. The former, inspired by shipboard instruments, uses a stainless steel case in the same 42mm size as the existing Western; the new Cushion adds a hand-engraved silver case.

That collection’s weathered brass PVD-finished case and bracelet pair with an off-white or black dial that mixes Roman and Arabic numerals and recalls the 867 dress watches.

The Cushion’s dial options are black lacquer, off-white, and turquoise stone; its leather straps are embossed with American West motifs. For size context, see Watch Size Guide: Case, Lug-To-Lug, And Fit.

@watchopinions is cited as calling the smaller watch “the greatest American watch ever made.” A daily identification game is available at Watchdle.
