Analog:Shift and Éditions de la Tour have released a joint deck of “Vintage Watches” playing cards. The collaboration between the watch dealer and the card maker is priced at $25 per deck, limited to 500 decks, and available now through Analog:Shift or Éditions de la Tour.

Fifty-Two Cards, Fifty-Two Different Watches

The design inspiration was vintage watches of all sorts. Instead of recycling artwork across the pack, the deck carries 52 wholly unique designs, with every card showing an illustration of a different watch. The 52-watch lineup was curated by Analog:Shift founder James Lamdin, and the brands represented include Doxas, Tudors, Cartiers, and Pateks.

One piece of advice for anyone tempted to put the pack to use at a table: “Never play poker at a casino.”

Green or Red: Two Deck Options

The release comes in two versions. The green deck pairs green card backs with a hobnail-textured box, while the red deck matches a red back with a box finished in an alligator-scale texture.

If watch-themed games sound appealing, you can also try a hand of Watchdle while deciding between colorways.

Uncut Sheets and Watercolor Court Cards

Beyond the standard packs, the offering extends to collectible formats: 200 uncut sheets of playing cards and 12 original hand-drawn and painted watercolor court cards.

A Follow-Up to a Steel Sports Watch Deck

Éditions de la Tour’s first deck took its cues from iconic steel sports watches like the Submariner or Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. That earlier release, which came out last year, repeated four special designs across the face cards — a contrast with the new deck’s one-watch-per-card approach.
