Hautlence Sphere Series 5: White Titanium Limited Edition
In this article
Hautlence has introduced the Sphere Series 5, a white edition of its Sphere line, at the Salón Internacional de Alta Relojería (SIAR) in Mexico City, according to Monochrome. The new watch is a limited edition of 28 pieces.
The Sphere Line Before Series 5
Monochrome reports that the Sphere line was introduced in 2023. Series 1 was blue-toned and featured the signature multi-axis jumping hour. Series 2 used a black-and-grey colour scheme. Series 3 used a titanium case, added purple accents, and adopted a more compact case design. Series 4 combined olive-green and sand colours.
Rectangular Grade 5 Titanium Case
According to Monochrome, the Series 5 has a rectangular case made from Grade 5 titanium. The case middle, horns, bezel, and crown are satin-finished and polished. The crystal is extra-hard sapphire with anti-reflective treatment and bevelled edges, and the caseback is made of sapphire.
Spherical Jumping Hour and Retrograde Minutes
Monochrome details the hour display as a spherical jumping hour. The hours sphere is made of titanium and operates on three axes. Four conical gears arranged around two inclined crossed axes control the movement, and the conical gears are set at a 21° angle. At the top of each hour, the sphere rotates to reveal the next numeral. A retrograde hand moves across a 180-degree sector to indicate minutes. The hours sphere is coated white, and its engraved numerals are filled with grey Super-LumiNova. The minutes hand is micro-blasted brass with a sandblasted coating and grey Super-LumiNova. The base dial is skeletonised, rhodium-plated brass with a frosted finish. The sapphire dial has applied minute numerals in Globolight.
White Suede Strap and Titanium Clasp
The outlet reports the watch is supplied on a white suede strap with a titanium folding clasp.
